Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is a scenic gem, once described by Earnest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. It’s one of Tanzania’s smaller parks, with nearly two-thirds of its area covered by the lake. The compact game viewing here is a true microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, the world’s largest population of baboons, 400 species of birds and the soda-ash lake with pink-hued flamingos.

ITINERARY.
Your safari begins by a morning pick up from your Hotel by one of our experienced and knowledgeable guide followed by a pleasant drive toward Lake Manyara National Park.
Enjoy this morning with an introduction to northern Tanzanian culture, taking a short break at fascinating Mto wa Mbu village.
Mto wa Mbu Village is a home to over 18,000 inhabitants from 120 different tribes in Tanzania.

Lake Manyara is rightly famous for its tree-climbing lions, but they’re far from the only highlight: by the end of an exhilarating afternoon, you could easily have spotted elephant, hippo, wildebeest, buffalo and giraffe, plus many other species. Pink-hued flamingos, one of 400 bird species recorded here, provide a splash of color. Late afternoon drive back to your hotel in Arusha.

Tarangire National Park

This charming quiet park is a hidden jewel, especially when you like to experience an authentic safari in northern Tanzania. Its unique landscape, dotted with thousands of baobabs is spectacular. The park is choked with wildlife, especially during the dry season, when animals crowd around the only permanent water source in the area, the Tarangire River. Elephants are the undisputed stars in Tarangire. During the dry season this park has one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the world!

Not everyone has time to go on a long safari. We have made it possible for everyone to get chance to get a brief but unforgettable African wildlife safari experience in our country Tanzania. This package of 1 full day safari can start from Arusha.
In the morning, you will be picking up from the Hotel, and you will deliver a short safari briefing, after which the 2hrs safari will starts to Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa.
After a morning game drive, we will have lunch and later continue with game drive.
Later in the afternoon we will drive back to Arusha.

Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park is one of the smallest charming parks in Tanzania. It is incredible diverse and beautiful with the changing colours of the Momella Lakes, the lush swamps of the Ngurdoto Crater and the towering peaks of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. It is the only place in northern Tanzania where the black-and-white colobus monkey can be easily seen.

Arusha National Park is Tanzania’s most accessible national park and the perfect place for a day trip or as the first or last stop on a longer itinerary. At just 552 square kilometres, it’s a small park with a lot to see.
Arusha National Park boasts a broad variety of landscapes, ranging from open savannah through acacia scrubland to rainforest and, eventually, to alpine conditions on the higher reaches of Mt. Meru.
It is a home to the world’s largest population of giraffes, making it a great place to visit for fans of these long-necked, beautiful animals.
With diverse wildlife that includes herbivores such as elephants, hippos, buffalo, zebra, and even the occasional wildebeest, Arusha National Park is also a perfect place to get out and stretch your legs – with both walking safaris and canoe safaris available within the park.

Ngorongoro Crater National Park

The Ngorongoro Crater is called the 8th National Wonder of the World, due to the beautiful pastel colours of the landscape, together with the ever dancing clouds and abundance of wildlife. It shelters close to 25.000 animals including the Big Five and rare black rhino. The beauty of this natural amphitheatre is almost surreal.

Full description
After pick-up from your hotel or accommodation in Arusha at 06:00 AM your English speaking driver and guide will take you 190 KM to the gates of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Here you will first start to appreciate the majesty of one the largest intact caldera in the world and one of the most spectacular sights in the whole of Africa.

Then you will descend into the crater floor for a day of game watching. All of the big 5 including rhinos, lions, leopards, buffalo, and elephants live in this wonderful caldera alongside zebras, hippos, wildebeest, hyenas, and many more. View spectacular birds including flamingos on the soda lake, geese, storks, and vultures.

Enjoy your lunch at the picnic site at Ngoitokok swamp, a hippo pool, before you continue the safari while ascending the crater. At then end of the day your private driver will escort you back to your hotel in Arusha.
