Detailed Itinerary

6th March - ARRIVAL, TRANSFER TO ARUSHA

Today, you will arrive at Kilimanjaro airport, and after clearing immigration and customs formalities, our customer relation’s personnel will meet you at the arrival lounge, they will have a board with your name on it! You will be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Arusha town, the transfer will take about an hour or so, depending on the traffic on that particular day. The rest of the day will be at leisure with dinner and overnight at Kibo Palace Hotel DBB

7th March - DRIVE TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK, THE LAND OF ELEPHANTS HERDS

After a hearty breakfast this morning, we travel to Tarangire National Park, today will be an easy drive, taking about 2 hours on tarmac roads. The game viewing starts as soon as you enter the park gates. You will stop at the gate for some paper work, and once you enter the gate, your pop up roof will go up and the adventure begins!

Once in the park, as you enjoy the game viewing, you will find a picnic spot for your hot packed lunch, enjoying the scenery around you, and the birds chirping around as you enjoy your lunch.

After lunch, you will proceed with your game viewing, and in the late afternoon, you will drive to your camp, arriving in time to catch the sundown

8th March - DRIVE TO LAKE MANYARA, A CULTURAL EXPERIENCE!

Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at camp before setting out to Lake Manyara National park, this drive is an interesting drive, as you drive pass small villages on the road sides. You will stop at Mto wa mbu, a small town on the outskirts on Lake Manyara National park. Here , you will have an opportunity to mingle with the locals.Immerse yourself in the local culture during this cultural tour Mto wa Mbu. A local guide will walk with you through the streets of this African farming village, surrounded by beautiful nature. During this tour you visit an African school, church, market and banana brewery. A great way to get an insight in the daily life of local people. This activity will take about 2 hours

After the village tour, you will proceed into the park and enjoy an afternoon of game viewing. At midday, you will drive up to the picnic site, where you will enjoy your lunch, with breath taking views on the lake.

After enjoy the final game viewing drive as to drive out of the park, to your lodge, located in the Katratu Area, for dinner and overnight

9th March - DRIVE TO NGORONGORO CRATER, NDUTU AREA

After an early breakfast today, you will make your way up the Ngorongoro Highlands, having an opportunity to stop at the view point where you get an awesome view of the crater floor and an opportunity to get some fantastic photographs from this point and you will descent into the crater for spectacular scenery and game viewing in what has been described as the eighth wonder of the world   Ngorongoro is collapsed volcano – an incredible natural amphitheater, 25 km across and teeming with all of the African big game. At lunch time, you will make your way to the soda lake on the crater floor where we all meet up for lunch.After lunch, we will make our way to the incredible NDUTU area, arriving at your camp in the late evening, where a hot shower and a freshly prepared dinner awaits you!

10th March - FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN NDUTU AREA

Today, you will explore the Serengeti National Park in a full-day game drive. Your guide will take you closer to where the migrating herds are to be found. During the short rainy season in November and December, the herds make their way from the hills in the western to the plains of the southern Serengeti, returning north during the longer rainy season from April to June. Their exact location differ yearly as they migrate according to the rainfalls. After an exciting day you will return to your tented camp in Ndutu area for your evening meal and overnight stay

11th March - ANOTHER FULL DAY OF GAME VIEWING IN NDUTU AREA

After breakfast today you will have another full day game drive in Ndutu region, if it will be around middle of February or beginning of March, you will be able to witness calving season when approximately 8,000 wildebeest are born every day for a period of approximately 3 weeks, at lunch time, you will find a suitable spot in the wilderness to enjoy your hot packed lunch. And after lunch, you will enjoy an action packed afternoon, before driving back to camp for Dinner and overnight

12th March - FLY FROM NDUTU TO ARUSHA AND DEPART

After breakfast, we leisurely game drive en route to Ndutu airstrip for our schedule flight back to Arusha , and upon arrival at Arusha , you will be met by our representative and transferred to town for lunch at a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
