Arusha National Park is the “home to the world’s largest population of giraffes“, making it a great place to visit for fans of these long-necked beautiful animals. A safari in this Park consists of light trekking with a ranger. You will go for a walk in the tropical forest and see wildlife from the comfort of your car. The most spectacular aspect is that you will be able to walk up to the crater of Meru (Tanzania’s second highest mountain and Africa’s fifth highest peak), which is located right in the park. This is a terrific experience that should be added to your next dream trip!
Following the walking safari, a vehicle will take you to the farthest area of the park, the Momela Lakes, where you will observe pink flamingos and many other creatures.
