Elewana Collection Luxury Safari - 8 Days 7 Nights

Tour Overview

ARUSHA – TARANGIRE – SERENGETI – NGORONGORO

A Truly Unforgettable Safari Experience from the  City of Arusha on to the hearts of the most amazing Tour destinations of the Northern Circuit.

Tarangire National Park : Tarangire National Park promises visitors a wilderness adventure away from the busier areas of Tanzania’s ‘Northern Circuit.’ The park is well-known for its elephant herds, and it consists primarily of arid, open plains with more vegetation than the Serengeti, including baobab trees and acacia, with a network of swamps dominating the land to the south.

Serengeti National Park:

The Serengeti has become associated with African safaris, catching a glimpse of golden sunsets over the savannah or heavy hoofs stirring up clouds of orange dust, followed by lions. This is Tanzania’s most well-known national park, and it offers unrivaled safari experiences, including the world’s largest spectacle, The Great Migration.

Ngorongoro Crater: The first glimpse of the 600-meter crater below is likely to take your breath away; tusker elephants, leopards, rhinos, and lions all roam the crater’s depths, which span 16 miles in diameter. It’s a place where wildlife and game viewing is easy and excellent all year, making it one of Tanzania’s most popular tourist destinations and the best place to see the country’s ‘Big Five.’

This charming quiet park is a hidden jewel, especially when you like to experience an authentic safari in northern Tanzania. Its unique landscape, dotted with thousands of baobabs is spectacular.
The Tarangire River is the primary source of freshwater for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry season.
The Tarangire Ecosystem is defined by the long-distance migration of wildebeest and zebras. Thousands of animals concentrate in Tarangire National Park during the dry season from the surrounding wet-season dispersal and calving areas.
Elephants are the undisputed stars in Tarangire. During the dry season, this park has one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the world.

Accommodation – Elewana Tarangire Treetops

Many a childhood would have been spent playing in the world of ‘make-believe’. Within this imaginary existence, many of us will have climbed and played high up in the bows and branches and, for the lucky few, built a ‘palace’ in the sky.
It is this nostalgic sparkle that is all too visible in the eyes of the ‘grown-ups’ who gaze upon Tarangire Treetops for the first time. Tarangire Treetops sits serenely on the border of the Tarangire National Park – Tanzania.
As you arrive at the Lodge, you are immediately greeted by a blaze of colour and a host of smiles all of which belong to the local Maasai tribesmen who have become part of the enchanting story that is Tarangire Treetops.
Each Treetops Room boasts one of the largest bedrooms to be found in any camp or lodge in East Africa – with a floor space of 65 square meters – and all with an exotic double shower en suite bathroom. With furnishings that create warmth and demonstrate a commitment to local craftsmanship, the ‘up-in-the-air’ experience is completed by the open-fronted room design affording views across the Tarangire plains from an expansive but private balcony.

Crossing the Rift Valley and climbing the steppe onto the green and rolling hills south of the Ngorongoro Crater, there lies a truly undeniable surprise and one that will be a home-away-from-home.
The Manor at Ngorongoro, located in North West Tanzania and with its 9 luxurious cottages (18 Suites), family cottage, and magnificent main Manor House, is one of the first safari lodges of its kind to blend East African hospitality with old-world Afro-European architecture and decor. Located adjacent to the famous Ngorongoro conservation area and within a 1500-acre Arabica coffee estate, The Manor is reminiscent of an elegant up-country farm home in the Cape Dutch style of architecture.
Every detail of The Manor has been designed with its guests’ comfort in mind. Each of the cottages has been carefully positioned to maximize the views of the adjacent verdant hills but at the same time to maintain the intimacy and privacy of this old-world Manor home.
